Nice cinematography. Looks like it was shot on the Canon 5D MKII.

A combination of Deliverance and Pulp Fiction?

Looks like Kevin Smith should stick to comedy.

So is this another movie about how everyone south of the Mason Dixon line is a slow-witted, baby-raping, bible-thumping, gun-toting, anti-government racist?

    Oh goody.

kevin smith made two decent movies, the first of which doesn't hold up very well. at this point, he is most famous for having to buy two seats on a plane.

I consider Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Dogma to be good movies. They haven't aged well, I'll grant you that. But surprisingly few comedies do.

Mallrats was better than Clerks. Yeah I said it, bro, having watched them both in the last month.

I am a big fan of puerile garbage, though.

Kevin Smith is better at telling funny stories to college crowds than he is at making films. That said, Mallrats is great.

Chasing Amy was his magnum opus. It's been downhill since then. This movie, though looks like he might be on the upswing.

I'm a Kevin Smith fan. His movies aren't all masterpieces, but they make me laugh. I'll check this out just to see if he can pull it off.
