hi y'all,
first post here so please bear with me.

received a pair of preshrunk 501xx's as a gift and was wondering if there's any point soaking these? will they respond to any of the techniques used on raw denim? are they raw? selvage?

i have used the search feature (to the point of blury vision) and didn't see much applicable to preshrunk 501xx's sooo .....

thanks for such a cool forum and happy holidays to all,
mike

They aren't going to shrink any more (a little, maybe), if that's what you're asking.

Yeah, they used to be dry, but have been washed.

Yup.

First wash/soak takes care of most of the shrinking. Minimal shrinking from there.

They'll shrink just a bit at first, but will just stretch out again.

If it was up to me I wouldn't soak or wash to start.

Prewashed 501s are cool, I like their color.
