    Hi all,

we would like to get your suggestions on what we could give as a present to a guy turning 60.

    Let's define the guy:

Not much into fashion but still he knows how to match clothes. A belly is present.

As it's Italy, business environment is very formal, so something to wear at work would be good. What we thought:

    - Cufflinks: TateOssian, Montblanc, Ferragamo. We saw those on a shop today https://www.tateossian.com/category...ks-in-silver-with-semi-precious-stone/BTS2608 but i) a bit too big ii) we can afford also a bit more. Thoughts?

    - Watch: he wouldn't appreciate technical details / mechanic vs. auto. Just need to be nice. I know he likes this (https://www.omegawatches.com/watche...rofessional-chronograph-42-mm/31133423001002/) but clearly out of budget. Thoughts?

    Approximate budget: $700-1.000

The guy in question by the way is my dad :) :)

We will make the purchase tomorrow!

    Thanks

    Cheers,
    Marco & Edo

A good stylish watch is an excellent gift, and is something he can use all the time, as opposed to neat cufflinks that will probably only get worn on irregular occasions.

Not really my area either, to be honest. And my taste in watches (simple, understated) is clearly different than the taste of the guy you're shopping for. Not much help there, I'm afraid.
