    What is happening at this step? Are you pressing pleats into the sleeve head?

    Pressing the seam of joining the top sleeve to the under sleeve and some iron work going on for shaping.

    Is this type of iron work presumed by your tailors, or do you mark and/or discuss how you want them to shape it?

    These sleeves are standard issue. When special treatment is required I usually do it myself or direct them.


    Jacket is fully lined, will be finished next week

    Yes


    We upgraded to the heavier irons, 6 or 8 pounds, I think. Not the standard 3 or 4 pounder
