I placed a pre-order for a pair of shoes with a reputable retailer, and paid my deposit. This was back in July of this year. I have not heard anything from the retailer at this point. Tonight I happened to check their website, and the shoes which I had placed a pre-order for are available for sale on the site. I know from past experience that if I were to place a web order for these shoes tonight, I would have them delivered within the next 2 days. I don't know when these shoes were posted on the website for sale as I don't check it daily, however I would think that the retailer would have contacted those who placed pre-orders for the shoe before placing them for sale on their website to the general public. What is the consensus on this? :puzzled:

Tomorrow I can, but it's after hours..... And besides that not the question.... I'm asking whether the retailer should have contacted and filled their ore-orders first before placing the shoes on their website? As I said they haven't contacted me about the shoes being in and sending them out. I know if I were to place a web order today, I would have them delivered in 2 business days.... I feel they should have contacted me when the order came in and shipped them me..... What's the point of ore-ordering? It seems that this retailer gives better service to those who don't.
