are prada sports worth it in your opinion?

I've yet to see a Prada Sport item that's worth it at retail, and some of it is truly unwearable, but I do have a few pieces from older seasons. My favorite is a hooded winter jacket from several years back that's incredibly well insulated, and which has a polyester surface that's almost as smooth as silk.

Anyways, lately it seems to have become more of a chavy version of the mainline imo, and the logoing has really come out of control on some of the pieces. The quality and construction is very hit and miss too.

Not worth it at all. I find the designs generally uninspired (there have been a few "technical" pieces that have caught my eye on occasion) and always overpriced. Acronym, the premium Puma line (including but not limited to the 96 hours line), and Samsonite Black Label, amon others, have a similar aesthetic, and are all more affordable and in general, better constructed.

The best designed Puma line was Puma Platinum, which was not available in the US, and has since been replaced with the inferior-made (but not by much) 96 Hours, Which has some good piece and the rest seems blah (to me) for the price they ask, since a lot of it looks like variations of stuff from the regular Puma line. Actually, Puma Platinum was available in the US. The shoes, especially, were (relatively) well distributed. I liked the 96 hours line more. The Platinum line, especially shoes like the Boxter, I liked to begin with, but after a while, just started screaming "Nike x Colehaan" mediocrity to me after a while.

Really? Where? Because I tired to find them here to no avail; and according tom the then up and running Puma Platinum website there were no US stores that carried them.

They were not really that exclusive. Go Clothing in La Jolla carried them for a while (I don't think that they sold well), for one. Bluefly even had them, and I think that at one point, the price for their remaining stock (shoes) was at about $50.

When was this? Maybe it was because I was found out about them / tried to find them during the Platinum / 96 Hours changeover?
