Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience with dress shoes made with spazzolato (brushed) leather? I've been looking for a while for the perfect loafer and finally found a Prada slip on that I LOVE...

...except for one thing - it's "high sheen" is much too glossy for my liking. Does anyone know if spazzolato leather get duller over time? Hoping it does!

Thanks for any assistance,

Newbie Fashion Dude

They don't get duller, they just show every piss drop, rain drop, street debris, and anything else very easily. In addition to looking like **** after a few wears because the creases are so pronounced.

Personally, I've never owned a pair of shoes crafted with spazz. Surprisingly my daughter had a pair of shoes made from it and well... spoo is right on.

That is a nice design though.

I prefer fine rich Corinthian leather myself.

Can you show me a shoe made of Corinthian leather? Or is your experience limited to the interior salon of a Rolls Royce?

Thanks all for the advice - looks like I've been saved from an unwise purchase.
