    Thanks.

The most important thing is that I wanted a bigger, heavier, stronger body. The 60D (although not as tough as its predecessor, from what I read) feels nice and heavy; gives me more control or a more secure feeling. I've always enjoyed shooting with my 350D (Rebel something in the US?), but this one feels much better.

I think I'm going to have to find a body I can play around with. I like stronger bodies but as I travel a lot I don't want a camera weighing me down.

LOL! At least they are somewhat slow moving and predictable. I tried to capture a Hummingbird Moth and Dragonfly in mid flight today. It was an exercise, one in near futility.

I am usually not a fan of overly photoshopped photographs (I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to photoshop, although now and then I do fuck around with the different settings), but I have to say some of the stuff in this thread is great.

Good idea, preferably with the lens(es) you want to use (obviously). I took the camera to a museum for a few hours, and the weight didn't bother me. Also it still fits in my (small) camera bag that I used for the 350D.

Here's a fun review of the camera:

    And a comparison with the 600D (T3i):

fujifilm x100 is an excellent camera. it handles high ISO even better than the newer canon bodies (60D, 7D, 5D mark2). and im sure its really fun to use. they're out of stock everywhere but you can buy them on craigslist/ebay

Thanks for kind words. Indian/Tibetan border near a small town called Kazaar (think I spelled that right). It is a temple village called Kimon.
