Nice shot of Ichiro there, Slim. I love action shots!
Also nice to see the fire department honor guard in action.

Those two pictures were taken in the 1st and 3rd inning IIRC. (actually if you look at it, the second of the two shots was the first inning, look at the batters box) Ichiro's swing, while extremely unorthodox is VERY consistant. It might as well be the same swing.

That year we had this unusual glace coming with the wind... Global Warming was announcing what it can do tous in the future... scary

Why we were in Geneva, Switzerland in January of 2003 is another story. The wind off Lake Geneva really blows. Here is proof of what happens when someone doesn't heed the warnings about parking near the lakeshore. I used the Nikon N65 for this.

question for you guys - a long long time ago, I had a simple canon 35 mm manual camera - you needed to focus, you needed to set the shutter speed and aperature. I learned how to take pictures on that. I cna't, however, remember what the camera was called.

I'd like to get something like that again - specifically for taking a few still life pictures and pictures of some scenery, sort of artsy type pictures. I want to spend as little as possible, and, considering that I am talking about obsolete technolgoy, I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to.

    any suggestions?
