Nice, Alter. Too bad the background is rather 'busy', but still.

Thanks, NOBD. Good point about the background. I should have moved around a bit to avoid those big posters behind the net. But I love the action of the kids.

Yes, the timing is great. And more important than the background.

Took some photos the other day for a girls clothing line she's trying to put out. I'm not a big fan of the dresses, but I like these two pictures.

I finally got around to doing something with my domain. Not sure where I'm going to go with it but one of the things I'm going to do for sure is tutorials. I just finished one on how to get started in Infrared Photography.

I'll get around to writing up another one on advanced techniques and color IR in the near future. I'm writing one on catching lightning at night and during the day without getting yourself killed. LOL!

So my site is driven by Wordpress so people can comment or make additional notes to the tutorials.

Feel free to add your own tips and tricks to anything I write about.

Really feel the atmosphere in the long exposure. When you're gonna invite us to your backyard?

I've shot some stuff with flashes + reflector. Worked out ok but I messed up some stuff in regards to shadows. It's really a lot more difficult than just using available light. Hopefully I'll manage to post-process some pics before I fly to Thailand again on Saturday.

I've also picked up a Lumix GF2 + 20mm f/1.7 Pancake to have a light and small camera. Sometimes the 1Ds is really too big to bring along (e.g. in restaurants).
