The Gap test shoot and fitting went well.

Tomorrow is the actual shoot. It's outdoors. Temperature is expected to hit 100 degrees. THI near 113. I'll survive it just fine. I've kept acclimated. Now my support staff and the models, well I think they'll all be dead after tomorrow. LOL! Mother Nature hates me....

    I've missed this thread.

Recent trip. Yes, sometimes heavy post-processing but as I've already photographed this place to death I wanted to have a bit more fun with my shots this time. Last two shots are from a waterproof disposable:

iPhone shots for when I couldn't be bothered to take the dslr or just wanted a change.

Say what you will about the ubiquitous filter shots, this is one of my favorite photos of mine taken on any medium:

Nice pics, whodini. I really like the one I quoted, with all those layers full of texture (beach, sea, sky). Nice lonely mountain, and the man in the front with two echo's in the sea for an interesting diagonal (perhaps unintentional, but that doesn't matter).

(The only thing is that the horizon is just a tad sloping; less than a millimeter, but it immediately caught my eye.)

The horizon isn't off by much at all, but what's exaggerating it is the slope of the shore.

No, just a tad. And you're right about the effect of the shore, but I'd still correct it...

These things are important, Il ciclista!

But even more important: I think it's a great pic.

    Thanks, OCD, I mean, NOBD.

BTW, I got around to seeing Oorlogswinter last week. Wasn't as good as Zwartboek but still enjoyable.

    :)

I was planning on watching that one on May 4th ( remembrance day of our WWII victims), but didn't get to it. I read the book as a child and was impressed at the time.

Szeph, you have more of those? This thread has a serious wasp deficit.
