the singularly, most irritating thing for me about SuFu is "rep" powers. 'srsly don't really care for them. i mean, i don't mind not having any, but what's annoying is, some "know-it-all" yahoo with [brown] reps "negging" you with [dunder]reds for whatever. it's juvenile. i say to myself, it shouldn't get to me, but it's fcuking derailing and infuriating to see those reds under my signature everytime i'm logged in. for awhile, i stopped posting and came over here.

Agreed too. Some sub forums or areas, like the denim, are totally more in-depth and peppered with incredibly knowledgeable posters (who also contribute here). But I do hate the juvenile and unhelpful responses I've gotten there from some. And when I was a noob there, I didn't feel welcomed or inclined to post, which just stuck on me.

Plus, I just can't seem to get over the marsupialed formatting and interface. Little problems like the site being down, or not being able to see were or what I'm writing when I try and post, figuring out how to post pictures, the reverse-chronological order of the format, etc. I just don't have the patience to immerse myself.

I wasn't thinking too much about the length but now I see it looks sloppy. Think I need to read about when to stack vs. not. Or if you stack, how much. I agree the STF's are too baggy in the thighs but didn't know how much until I took the photos. I'm still struggling with the combo of shrink vs. stretch. My normal waist is about 31" and wonder if I could have gone down to 32 on the LVC, but guess the 33 are working out. Thanks guys.

This is a really good example of why exasperation finally encourages people to explore the $150+ range of denim.

There's a lot of good fits out there for you...

Stacking works better on smaller leg-openings and slimmer cuts, but not always.

I don't see the 501s as all that baggy. They're simply another kind of fit. 501s can be worn all kinds of ways, and I don't think a bigger fit is necessarily bad.

Well, they are comparatively baggy in the thighs, but much nicer for relaxing in than the 514's. They are my around the house or going to the lab jeans. Whereas, the others I'm much more likely to wear going out. It's not like I'm going to throw them out, they only cost $18 at the Levi outlet, it was a buy one, get one for 1/2 price deal. So new they were $36. Kind of interesting how much more blue they are relative to the other two.

You know you can change it all in options. I changed it to being just like a regular forum. In format it is almost exactly the same as here, just the background colors are different, and I could change those too probably if I cared. Also, how much extra shrinkage can I get from a second hot soak? Just wondering if I can expect any noticeable change in inseam on my Sugar Canes if I let them go in water again.

It's just annoying that the sufu interface is so much worse than the one they had 2 years ago. It looked so much cleaner back then.

I have much to learn from you and Agelus (and I see your posts over there all the time Connor...yeah, I'm onto your two-timing ways...)

Okay, you've given me the spirit to go back and give another try. Must work out that formatting thang.

yah, sufu isn't an issue for me. it took like 5 minutes to figure it out. i agree it's not the most intuitive layout, but it's not the beast people make it out to be.

If anything it's worth at least lurking. There's a LOT of information there.
