For the record, I haven't had any problems with my Slings falling apart or any hardware issues. The only "issue" I had was when I first bought them they were damn near impossible to button because the denim was so stiff, but after a week it was fine.

Thanks for the compliments guys! morse, I really love the subtle detailing as well. The inside of the jeans say that the embroidery (I'm guessing this is the ampersand) is 24k gold thread from India. Also says the denim is 100% organic cotton from Japan. Pretty cool stuff.

Yeah it blew out in a few spots, but they've been repaired, with them on you can't see it that well anyway...

Glad you liked them.

The 517's are awesome. However the 6 yr no-wash seem lacking in the fade department. They just look dirty. A wash would probably improve their look immensely.
