1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I hate to jump on the bad wagon a start sucking Get Smart off, but the man's got style. I'm digging the massive cuffs on the jeans.

Jason, got a higher res shot of the top right one? That brown topcoat is fucking excellent, as is the whole outfit.

not really. it's a Merc crombie coat, black velvet collar and rust brown wool coat. The colorway was a one season run they did about 5 or 6 years ago, they just make classic navy or black now. Thanks for the good words!

    Jason,
I like the judicious use of check and windowpane trousers. If I ever find steady employment, I wouldn't mind emulating the look--in a slimmer cut.

Definitely a nice mix of Fred Perry and Ben Sherman-inspired mod.

thanks, most of my trousers are checked

the pic on this page has all 3, fred perry, ben sherman, and checked trousers. I guess it's bursting with mod flavor.

From the Sartorialist. A few that I like. Not cutting edge but a look I can live in. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

These are the last I'll throw on here, I could post about 100 pictures from his blog. I think I have to visit NYC and have a look around. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I bet it IS selvage, the photo is from the 70s----the black and white may be tricking the eye. But yeah, I take inspiration from 70's Philly gang-culture and subvert it with Japanese/Native American/Trucker and Gay stylings.

Sending lots of mixed signals, but that's what I like.
