Possible uses for this orphaned jacket?

I recently got offered a great deal for this Brioni jacket, but it appears to be orphaned. I don't own matching pants, so I'm wondering what the best way to wear it in a broken suit/as a sport coat would be, if any. I do like wearing odd vests as well, so if that would help tying it together with some pants, I'd love to hear it.

As you said, it very obviously looks like an orphaned suit jacket. I wouldn’t try to wear it as an odd jacket.
That's a shame. Do you think some alterations would change it up enough to make it more of a sport coat? Or is it down to the pattern/color/material?

The picture is very low-res but it looks like a striped grey suit jacket in a very business-y cut. You really can’t do anything with that to make it work as an odd jacket.

In some cases a grey striped jacket can work but IMO the jacket has to be cut quite differently and it is not easy to pull this look off.
