Many of my shirts fit well overall but the overall length is too short. The constantly come untucked. Is this something a tailor can fix - I just envision adding more material at the bottom. Shouldn't really matter how well it matches as it will be tucked into pants. Is this at all common?

Possible to lengthen dress shirts?

It is easy to do, but matching the fabric will be the main problem. make sure the additional fabric has been washed and dried before attaching.
