So I was looking in different salvation army stores and second hand stores in my town. And I saw this jacket/coat, and thought it seemed quite all right. I bought it for $8, so it was a pretty good deal

My question is now. What do I do with it? It seems like it's a coat/jacket, but not like a winters coat. Would it be for summer or spring perhaps? Hope you can help

Depends on your weather. I could have worn it here today. Certainly would have been fine with a sweater and a scarf. It would be too heavy for summer.

Could it be worn with a suit underneath?

It is a sportscoat, and a pretty decent looking one. Wear it with only the middle or the middle and top buttons buttoned, never the bottom one.

Start wearing it now, while the weather is cool.

Feel stupid, that I didn't know it was a sportscoat. Some how I always pictured sportscoats with some sort of pattern. Never had a sportscoat before. Now I just need some pants to wear with them. Suppose some grey flannel would be the choice here, right?

Congratulations; that is a nice find.

I would wear it with jeans.

Really not sure this is a good idea, there's a lot more in a jacket which defines the roll line than it just being ironed into that shape.

I'm not gonna iron it into a 3-roll-2, I don't think the result would be good.
But gonna use it with some flannel trousers.
But where can I buy some grey flannel online in EU?!

Its a nice fabric, but it doesnt appear to have vents which makes it hug your hips a bit.

Its a casual jacket, wear it informally.
