Tons of new product hitting the web this November, we're trying to ramp up while we redesign the site. (by the way. PM me any feedback if you're clicking around and like / don't like something and I can relay it to the team!)

    Catching up on notifying y'all, so here's what I think is the most interesting new arrival;

    R.M. Williams

    Comfort Craftsman

    Suede Craftsman

For those of you who don't know these guys, they make the "baller boot" version of blundstones and have been in operation in Australia for close to a century. Just recently they've made themselves more accessible to USA accounts, and we jumped on them. The comfort craftsman has a rubber sole, my boss says it's the most comfortable shoe he's ever worn. I tried on the suede and have to agree, though mine didn't even have the comfort insole and rubber outsole. I'm a sucker for the chocolate suede, but sleek lasts and chisel toes seem to look good no matter the material.

Dream of wrangling kangaroos here, in the meantime we'll be bolstering the online stock and circling back here with more in the future.

    New up on the site:

    S.N.S. Herning

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Fisherman's Sweater

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Terminal Sweater

    Neuron Sweater

You know these guys already; Danish bubble knit wool specialists, their sweaters a must have for anyone who lives where it drops below freezing. We also picked up a handful of their scarves which are simple in texture but have nice color combos in some sailor stripes for a touch of the New England nautical vibe.

"Woolen Shacket" - This thing feels like a chore coat built to fit and feel like a sport coat. Slim tailored fit, and a fine suiting wool type fabric. the only things that really separate this from a blazer are the 4 button closure, the collar substituting for a lapel, and the lack of a chest pocket. An awesome casual jacket with some form to it, functionally it reminds me of the EG bedford jacket. Probably my favorite piece from this drop.

    [IMG][IMG]
"Piccadilly Shacket" - more typical shirt jacket in a fine cotton twill. big custom buttons, side entry pockets, all the right bells & whistles.

"Pilot's Wool Bomber" - a bomber for the bomber guys! removable fuzzy collar, luxurious navy wool shell, padded insulated body (not removable, sorry summer gang), this is the heaviest outerwear piece we have from VC and it could carry a lot of us New Englanders deep into the winter.

"Cotton Jersey Pocket Sweatshirt" - very strait forward piece, name pretty much tells it all. Of note are the two exterior pockets in place of the usual kangaroo pocket, making this a bit less bulky while still providing some utility (if theres one thing we like here, its good pockets.).

In general, the finishing on this stuff marks some of the best craftsmanship we've seen in the shop. Everything is well built and nicely executed. For more info click through & get your English workwear fix online, or stop by in person.

We try to keep sale merchandise final sale, but I'd be happy to run measurements or fit details down for you, and if we have the inventory exchanges are fine as well.

Walking to work this morning was nasty. Snowed last night, rained in the morning. Coincidentally we just put up some Arc'teryx gear (including two pieces from the well regarded Veilance sub division) that I'm wishing i had instead of my 60/40 today.

I don't know if we've ever actually had the camera strap in here, I don't think I've played with one myself (though the camera bag is incredible).

looks like there are two cord loops, one on each side that you can make a slip knot with on either side of your camera? might depend on the camera body. I don't know of any particular tutorial but check your local camera shop if you have one they might be able to help you out.

We're back at it for summer! new gear has arrived in waves and we finally hid all of the wool and goose down until next fall.

I'll be trying to keep you guys posted more regularly on a few of the more exciting new arrivals on the web shop:

    Karhu

    Karhu_Aria_Sneaker_Wet_Weather_Fiery_Red_SS17-1.jpg Karhu_Albatross_Navy_White_S17-3.jpg Karhu_Synchron_Foggy_Dew_Mango_S17-2.jpg
    Aria // Albatross // Synchron

Sneakers from Finland, great brand that has treated us well since they opened accounts in the USA about a year ago. summer options break into a new style for us (The Aria, a sock-lined trainer) and some new color ways in the Albatross & the Synchron. For what it's worth, the Albatross has become my go-to gym shoe; it helps that the price is good so I'm not afraid to beat them up, but after about a year they don't feel broken down in the slightest.

Looks like I'm going to have to re-strategize on how to make image heavy threads easier to navigate - in the meantime, check out the full run of our Engineered Garments offerings for summer - I believe everything is up on the web shop at this point. If you need any details on sizing or fabric, please reach out! I'm really digging the Olive Floral Loiter Jacket and the Grey Dobby Camp Shirt this year.

It's worth mentioning that we are offering 10% off on a purchase for new subscribers to our email list, so mention that to me in DM / Email if you are interested in picking something up and I'll dial it in before you get an invoice.

Should have some fun footwear for you guys up in the near future - we didn't get the collab, but I've got the perfect sandals to match up with some of the above summer styles.

Y'all get any Gardeners in? Those are my favorite, since the silhouette is truer to the muck boots that Blundstone and Redbacks popularized. Probably the most comfortable and utilitarian boots I've ever owned. Going on 3 years on my pair of Redbacks and I have been meaning to pick up the baller version since it's become my every day wear basically.

Hitting up Portland sometime this fall so I'm excited to stop by the shop.
