Looking for a leather strap for my new SARB033. Thinking perhaps a black shell cordovan strap from Fluco. If so, should I go with flat or padded?

Any Deep Blue owners? I've just discovered the ridiculous depth ones, the original Master 2000 caught my eye in particular...

Today I put my Baby Tuna on a ballistic nylon strap salvaged from a G-shock. It solved many issues I had with the bracelet when using the tuna as a summer beater: weight (this halved it; still substantial but not much more so than a G-shock), catching hair in between the links, scratching everything I rest my arm on, and the bracelet itself getting scratched, getting a precise wrist fit vs living with the gap between links, raising the massive chunk of metal a bit so my arm and wrist can move around without it getting in the way, and isolating my skin from metal in the heat with 100% humidity. I also think it looks good - black strap, black dial, both sort of mat. Tempted to take it sailing this weekend...
