You have to be ready for some imperfections or inspect them carefully before purchase.

I got some kind of piece of debris in mine.

I initially wanted one of the Moonswatches (Mercury or Neptune) I love my Omegas, but the wanting has kind of faded, maybe one day I’ll grab one if they become available online.

I'm also looking at the Neptune. But as you said, not being available has faded my interest.

Well he got lucky in Toronto and got the Earth model.

Here is my short, fun video about my experience in Toronto :)

That's a cool Seamaster you're wearing in the video. I've been really liking the look of a metallic stainless steel bezel on my Triple Date Speedmaster and have really started to like watches with similar bezels. What's the reference number on yours?

Thanks.

I live in NYC and stopped looking after the first month. I was in Times Sq this past Sat and there is a Swatch store there and it didn't even cross my mind to stop in and see if they had any.
Haha I was there in May. Walked in and the SA said hello. I said “I know this is a long shot but …” and she jumped in said “we’re sold out!” before of even finished my sentence. 😄.
Somewhere on either fifth or Madison - I think fifth - hey had a suitcase in the window with the full set but of course display purposes only

Yep....

I was taking the Metro North out of Grand Central on release day and the line was pretty much out the building. I stopped by the following wknd and they said that they would not carry them anymore.

I asked when was the next release and they said yesterday. I quickly made my way to Times Sq and saw no line and knew that they were sold out.

They were.

Thanks. This is an old midsize quartz Seamaster M300 - 2562.80.00. I used to have a similar model but in a 41 mm case. I like this one better. The watch is very comfortable on my wrist.

Fits perfectly. Recently, the 2255.80 and 2554.80 have caught my eye. The former is a 41 mm, and the latter is a 36 mm. The smaller Seamasters have very nice proportions indeed.

Not sarcasm, genuinely curious: for those of you talking Omega x Swatch, for those who own Omegas, what is the appeal of this crossover?

Yep. I wish they still had those smaller Seamasters in their collection.

I was curious to own one from the beginning. Mostly for fun I guess. But then was shocked to see all that hype and mess around the launch.

Now having a MoonSwatch I can say they kinda fun to wear if again you don't take them too seriously. Also can see that some people would want them as a collectible toy.

Definitely not worth to pay over retail price.

I don't own an Omega...but other "higher" end brands(ex. Rolex), but I also looked at it as a fun summer watch. Nothing serious and something I can throw on with shorts and a T shirt just running errands or meeting up with friends.

I could also see myself wearing it in a casual setting...jeans...etc.

The Neptune is the one I wanted and I would have found it easy to throw on anytime:

Another thing or a warning I want to add. I read some people who own real Speedmaster for example wanted to have these MoonSwatches as a beater watch. Yeah, this isn't going to work. MoonSwatches feel so fragile I don't think they withstand any beating at all :)

A simple and cheap G-Shock would do a much better work as a beater watch.
