Thank you for that. Did start immersing myself on WUS. Am deciding between the Guinand and a Nivada Grenchen Chronomaster. I like the sizing on both, and the quirkiness on the Nivada.

I like Nivada too. The quirkiness is indeed beguiling.

The Chronomaster is such a different stance/look from the Guinand Pilot Officer though, tough choice. Almost "boldly boisterous" versus "classically quiet", both are interesting.

Which Seiko is that? I have a 15 year old SKX007 which looks identical except the color scheme of the day and date wheels is reversed (white on black, except for Saturday and Sunday, which are blue and red respectively).

It's an SKX 007 that's modded with a sapphire crystal and black date wheel. My SKX 009 is also modded (I broke the bezel off and never put it back on).

Nice pickup. Lorier's quality punches way above the price tag on these. Plus, I love the warmth of the acrylic crystal on these. Enjoy!
