I fell the other day, tearing the "clutch post" from my Citizen Eco-Drive watch's band. I had to order a new band form Citizen to the tune of $159.00 and I will have to wait for six weeks for parts.

Grrrrrrr! (So much for a "cheap" watch).

They are certainly bigger than my other watches but not ridiculous. Some Citizen watches are way too busy for me too but plenty to choose from. I don't really get why I should prefer my Tissot to these.

Speak of the devil! I just got one two days ago!

@spectrumwatches - Which SMP do you currently have and which PO are you considering? There are a few different iterations of each.
I agree with this and am partial to the SeMP, because I own one. I personally prefer the SeMP to the Planet Oceans as I prefer the sword hands over the arrow on the end of the PO hand. I wouldn't mind getting the better movement and any possible ceramic though, but then his SeMP might already have a ceramic bezel.

Good news! My watchband is in and I'll have it on my wrist when I head To Tijuana! :)

Found out the Seiko spring bars are only made for drilled lugs. Swapped them to the Deep Blue and I’ll have to break them now to change to a strap. Luckily I’ll probably just use Natos or a perlon any way.
