Gorgeous! Helson never disappoints.
I know some of their designs, which are essentially remakes of other designs, can be divisive but I can appreciate them for what they are.
Regarding your Sharkmaster 300, I had the one you have and the MKII Project 300 and actually slightly preferred the Helson version. It had a bit more refined measurements than the MKII (which was itself a very faithful remake of the Omega Seamaster 300) including slightly shorter, better fitting lugs, the finishing was about the same as the MKII and mine always showed the same level of accuracy (they both use the same ETA movement). Factor in the price of the Helson and that it’s much easier to get than the MKII and it’s sort of an easy choice.
The Sharkmaster I do currently have:
I also noticed that Helson just restocked their Hammerhead 42, which takes its queues from the Longines Legend Diver. I bought a Hammerhead when they were first introduced because I love the design of the Longines but didn’t want to spend that much. A year or two later, my wife bought me the Longines for Christmas so for a while I had both. Side-by-side, the Longines definitely had better finishing (though the Helson was no slouch), the Longines was a couple mm smaller so fit me a bit better, had the same level of accuracy, and the lume on the Helson blew the Longines out of the water.
I ended up selling the Helson right after I got the Longines but after a while I stopped wearing the Longines and sold that as well since it was just a bit too large for my tastes.
I’ve toyed with going back and purchasing the smaller version of the Longines Legend Diver but now that the Hammerhead has been restocked, I’m contemplating that instead…
My since sold off Hammerhead:
ty that does look pretty niceA nice 70's design on this Brew Metric Automatic. Maybe also a suggestion for @javyn.

I like the hands on that one, and the minimal text on the dial. I never like the integrated bracelet fad, though, and I'm really getting tired of seeing them, now that every watch company on the planet seems to be putting one out.
