Love the Lorus.
This is now, model number and cost?
Thanks to this thread I ordered a couple of Sea-gull, a M199 and a M186 in roman. Will post pictures when I received them.
It was about $1,500 with SS strap, will run you about $1,200 with leather strap.
uhmmmm, that ain't no poor man's watch.
The Sea-Gull M186 is a ridiculous watch. It should cost ten times what it does. You go, dab.
I don't know how old it is or the model number. It didn't cost more than $40.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
My Orient Chrono with a green dial. The steel band it came with was trash so took it off right away for a tan oiled strap. I tried to leave a review on orientwatchusa but they seem to delete all reviews that aren't over 4 stars with only positive comments. My only problem with this watch is the bracelet.
^ looks great with that strap
link to the strap source?
Where do you order them from? I've been thinking about buying a couple of them myself.
I bought my M186S from here http://www.good-stuffs.com/Sea-Gull-M186S-Automatic-Designer-Watch-_p_21.html
I suspect its the same guy that sells them on ebay for an even cheaper price. Shipped from China relatively quick and great communication from the seller.
Sorry, i didn't know what the "poor mans" price point was as I see a lot of $10k+ watches around here.
But what is the price point as I have more watches that are cheaper than this one.
From my experience on this thread I'd say anything below $500-$600
Side note, the Oris is very nice!
Just what I want! How big is the case diameter and what size watch bands does it take? Let me know. Thanks
