Stowa kind of day

Man, I really like those Stowas with the old logo. What size is that one? I need to pick one up, one of these days. I had a Rodina knock off years ago, the movement eventually died but it was a looker when it was kicking.

Haven’t posted in here in a while but wanted to share my most recent Seiko acquisition: the “limited edition” SBDC019 green and yellow Sumo. Years ago I sold off the first Blumo I bought because I decided it was just an ugly and disproportionately shaped watch, only to eventually buy another… and another and another and another… and now I’ve got 7 of them! Over the years, I think they’ve become my favorite Seiko!

I found this watch as basically NOS and it’s in fantastic shape… except about two minutes after strapping it on the rubber keeper disintegrated. I don’t think the strap had ever been worn and it definitely felt dry and brittle.

The watch has a matching DLC stainless steel bracelet that’s just waiting for me to size it correctly (and I actually prefer the Sumo on a bracelet anyway). But now I need to hunt down an OEM strap…

that is gorgeous! What are the details on this one? I’ve never seen this brand
Hajime Asaoka is one of the independents. It's difficult to get a bespoke piece but he has a cheaper range that can be bought off the shelf (of sorts) under variants of the name Chrono/Kurono Tokyo.

I don't think it belongs in this thread even with a bitcoin based inflation definition, though. See chrono24..
