My 1959 Smiths Deluxe. Lovely watch but I feel possibly a bit small on my wrists.

A recent impulse purchase - Yema Navygraf

I wasn’t in the market and was just reading threads on WUS and somebody posted pictures of this one and the copper colored markers and yellow hands immediately grabbed my attention. About 10 minutes later one was on its way to me.

A friend recently bought the Superman reissue and I really liked it in the reviews and photos online but when I handled his, I just wasn’t too enthused. The fit and finish seemed nice enough, and he had nothing but good things to say about his, but other than the bezel locking mechanism, it looked like too many other watches in my collection. When I saw the Navygraf, the measurements were roughly the same as the Superman but the colors just popped so much nicer and it was so much of a more interesting looking watch to me.

If I had to make one change, it would be the addition of a domed crystal like the Superman has. I think that would have looked pretty cool on here but I understand they wanted to keep this as close to the original ones. I may actually take this to my watchmaker next time I’m down that way and see about finding one to swap in there.

Better pics?

And price?

Nice looking watch.

I’ll try to get some better pics this weekend. They are listed at $749 or the Yema site but they had a 10% off code and then I used their chat feature to ask for 15% off instead and got it. I figured it was worth a try.

^ Is that a newer Swatch? I've never seen that one (but granted, they have sooo many different models) but it's quite awesome looking!
