Are you on the right thread, yg? That doesn’t look like a poor man’s watch. Exquisite.

Well, Farer isnt't Rolex, Patek, AP, JLC, Panerai, Omega, Zenith etc. :) This watch is around 1300€, but yes, it looks like 1 000 000$ watch for me. ;)

I'm hoping the PMW community can help me find a poor man's alternative to this watch:

Criteria:

- Can have a white or silver dial
- Can have only 2 subdials
- Subdials can be gray or blue, maybe black.
- Must be mechanical movement
- Must be 39-40mm

Please post suggestions. Thanks!!

Both use the Seagull ST19 manual-wind movement, which is also found in the Baltic Bicompax. I like my Baltic a lot.

The Mercer is a great option! But the model I would want is out of stock! Hopefully they'll restock soon.
The Aramar is 38mm - really looking for 39-40mm.

I'm considering the Alpha version of the Daytona (even though it has 3 subdials).

Which version should I get - black bezel, or silver?
