I just purchased this in a Short length from Watch Prince:

    http://www.thewatchprince.com/Hadley-Roma-Oil-Tan-Leather-Dark-Brown-20mm

They even sell a Rose Gold Deployment clasp which I picked up as well. Should look nice with the DW

And yes, there are leather NATO bands, I owned one for a short while then immediately sold it. I find they are just too thick, and raise the watch quite a bit. Would probably look odd with such a thin watch. This seems to be the general consensus with leather NATO bands AFAIK.

My Parnis. Swapped the band for another eBay band. The movement is definitely not quiet but it doesn't bother me much.

Have you checked out the Luminox Navy Seal Colormark series? They make a blacked-out one looks like this:

It's a bit over 200 bucks, but you can generally find them for roughly 300. I have the same watch in orange and I love it. It is light, virtually indestructible and pretty good looking.

It might just be me, but it seems kind of incongruous to put a bulky Nato strap with a thin watch like the DW. I think NATOs look better on divers. But maybe if you want that look, but a bit thinner, go with the RAF strap. I got mine here:

It sounds like a marble spinning in a roulette wheel. My 40 year old Seiko automatic is completely silent. I've never even held a $5k watch so I have no idea.

a true nato strap puts *two* layers of material underneath the watch. A leather strap may be thicker in the strap part, but it won't push the watch out any further.

you could get one like this:
[IMG] which is both thinner than a leather strap and doesn't put material under the watch (but you lose the feature of having the watch stay on your wrist if you break a pin)

I like the look for a sport watch but if you get an iffy feeling about it don't buy it. I like to be sure and there are a lot of watches out there.

Green Nato would look great as well. Also a thicker tan leather strap with white stitching might look good.

Thought I was going to have a nice addition to my poor man's watch collection when I spied an Omega in the display case at my local thrift. Alas, I could tell as soon as I picked it up that it was a fake. Oh well.

Parnis watches are all over 40mm in diameter. Some are up to 47mm which is too large for my thin wrist.

How does this particular watch fit your wrist may I ask? Some 43mm 44mm may be acceptable for my wrist and I like their watches.

The edges of the face do not go past the edges of my wrist (and my wrists are thin). My only comment is that it seems a touch tall. But you get used to it quickly.

I see, and that is very interesting. I thought people that own Parnis automatically have a thick wrist. Would you happen to have a photo of the actual fitment of the Parnis on your wrist? I am curious and now wanting to buy one.
