This. Mexico would be glad to give him a home. I would not care if it is the poor man's entry level Rolex.

Yeah, jeez. First we let folks post Omegas, then Rolexes, then before you know it someone will post fakes, or Japanese Military Gay Porn.

Great watch :) That's quite a steal! Presumably they were ignorant of Eterna which is not a poor man's watch, but is an overlooked brand hence you might get away with it here ;) Was it in good working order?

I don't not want it, just explaining why i find it's not such a great watch to wear. Also it's only 5 years old and already running +10 s/day. My mother chose it for me :embar:

    Thanks!

I had the crystal polished and a new band fitted. In all this one cost less than $50. I haven't had the case back off, so I don't know anything about the condition of the movement or its service history. It keeps +/- 10s/day so it must be ok given that it's approx 40 years old.

Understated elegance. i suspect with a service it could keep even better. Those old ET(ern)A movements were/are great. This is a testimony to their robustness and accuracy. I also like the traditional size of the watch - it looks proportionally pleasing on your wrist. Nice cuff too! :)

Let me guess. When you take it off, you put it on a speaker.

Well, there's an iPhone speaker dock on my bedside table... But i do the same with other watches too & they seem fine with it, eg the Universal is running +2 and it's chronometer certified too

Never put any watch on top of a speaker, particularly a top-notch quality/expensive watch. Big no-no.

I've been wearing this almost every day since I got it. It really is a beauty :)

The Hamilton Khaki is definitely a clean design, and it should work for pretty much any setting. I'd definitely recommend it as a solid choice in the $400-500 range. It's automatic, and it definitely looks better in person than in Amazon pictures.

Does the Samsung Gear fit in this category? Sure, the value is not high if you pay retail but if you get a nice discount deal with a phone/ service provider then it actually quite useful, and at least for solves the problem of not getting notifications when using the note 3 with the S View cover. I'm in the middle of trying to load the null Rom onto it too.

I've never heard this. Of course, it has never crossed my mind to put a watch on a speaker...but what is the issue? Magnetism?

    Hey everyone, I'm new here.

I'm graduating with a master's degree soon and also turning 26, so I'm thinking of getting myself a nice watch. I have a rather small wrist, so I was looking at a Cartier tank solo in large at the moment.

Do you guys have any other suggestions or recommendations for guys with small wrists like myself?
