Not sure why the pic was fuzzy when I posted it. It is a Baume et Mercier Hampton watch w small seconds and brown dial. It is nice but I'm selling this and a few other watches of mine soon on buying and selling.

A pity you want to sell it, it looks very nice to me.

Jeanrichard. They were very available at great prices several years ago. Now they have become scarce, and the prices have jumped. I have three of them (sold the fourth and regret it)

Oh yes. I had this exact JR terrascope in silver dial and black rubber. I bought it real cheap brand new back then and sold it after I tired of the look as I got into smaller watches. Sold it for 700 bux several years ago.

Now if I held onto it would have been at twice the price. I regret it. And mine was absolutely mint when I sold it. I'm sure I can find a pic of it...

I agree. It is a pretty watch. However I need to sell off some watches. Amongst a whole bunch of other things. Oh boy.

Didn't know it has some interest here. Different demographic I guess. At watch useek I only get crickets chirping.

Here are more pics

It used to be that knocks offs were invariably made in China and invariably cheap and unreliable so buying them was a false economy.

These days some of the replicas are close to the original and so well made it does provoke the question of exactly what we’re paying for when we get the real McCoy. I know some is rand d of course but does that justify fifteen times the price? It’s getting to be a tougher call than it once was.

I'm a fan of the Seiko Alpinist (currently have it in 3 colors!), but not really as enthusiastic regarding limited Seiko collaborations. When I saw that Seiko released a regional exclusive for the Philippines (SPB491J1) I had to pull the trigger when I saw that dial.
