I have to admit that with each gorgeous Yema that @DorianGreen posts, my aversion to them based on poor past experience continues to lessen.

Picked up a couple of G Shocks recently, I'll have to grab a couple of photos. Only Casio I've had prior was a $25 all resin model. I did not know you could spend $5k on a Casio. Not that I would spend that on any watch.

I might pick up an Oceanus in the future.

Some of the Oceanus watches can be north of $1,500. They have great reviews but for some reason that always seemed a bit boring to me. Maybe if I saw one in person I'd have a different opinion but there are a bunch of G-Shocks I'd rather spend ~$1,500 on than any Oceanus... though I would definitely never spend $5k on one.

It's funny(?) I have somehow gotten on the mailing list of a particular jewelry store that gets some of those high end, limited edition G-Shocks in and when I open the advertising emails it's often hard to tell the difference from a $300 G-Shock to a $1,000 on or a $5,000 one. It's like a crap shoot if I see one I really like and then click through to see the price. 🤣

True looked at the MR G and regular metal square G shock and visually not a lot of difference. But about $3500 somehow in difference.

Might look at the MTG-B3000D, interesting with the carbon and metal design.

I have more than enough regular mechanicals/quartz/solar, 25 or so just in dive watches, I should expand my collection.

A pretty nice and distinctive colour combination on this Spinnaker Fleuss 40 Automatic - 145th Limited Edition in Deep Blue.
