I like the individual colors of those watches but nothing else here works with the other aspects. I think Baltic is generally pretty well regarded in terms of value and quality at their price point but these look like something with a vaguely French or Swiss-sounding name that you'd buy from a mall kiosk selling phone cases and essential oils.

Agreed, not attractive and cheap looking, because of the dial colours and the stud indices. A pity, the case is pretty nice instead.

I have the MR01, quite attractive.

I really like this new iteration of the "Alpinist", much more than the previous one.

Same here. I have both the green dial and grey dial version. They've got a nice dressy/sporty vibe when you throw them on a gator strap.

The new Calligra by Kurono will be released very soon.

Good looking, as I see, but I have doubts on the case sizing at 34mm: although the current trend is towards small proportions, I think that for such a style 36 to 38mm would be ideal.

I understand that it's the ebb and flow of fashion that watches are getting smaller. I got interested back in the mid 00s, as watches were getting steadily larger, and I remember seeing a few brands selling things in the 50mm+ range, which was just absurd. That said, this seems to be going to the opposite extreme. 34mm is almost joke sizing. 38-40mm is basically the ideal range, though I'll make an exception for up to 42mm, just for the Speedmaster Professional.

(and yes, I realize my hypocrisy for saying this after posting about my interest in a 44mm Panerai...)

34mm or 33mm was typical of watches from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. So the men of the silent and greatest generations wore women's sizing according to the current thinking?

It's not the 1940's last time I checked and 34 mm for a man's dress watch is far outside current norms and tastes. I don't think it's hyperbole for people to think that it's too small for their personal tastes. I also think you're confusing this thread with the other one, which recently had some opine that 32-34 mm is a woman's watch.

Speaking of smaller watches this guy is a hair under 38 mm. I thought it was too small for my large (8") wrist at first but it's too cool to let go.
