Pool damage

Yesterday I got thrown in the pool (heated) wearing my new-ish raw Slim Jim - just about a month, unwashed.

Having lemons, I decided to make lemonade and wore the jeans throughout the night up to 5 am when I went to bed. Waking up this morning I realized that the pool water may damage the fabric, and also saw some weird and huge stains (must have been BBQ or something) - so I decided to wash them
At least I didn't lose all of the accordions...

In short, the jeans were in the pool for a good hour, then dried on me, and ~10 hours later I washed them in the machine.

I am concerned the pool water might have already damaged the fabric, and I hear Nudies' crotches blow out anyway

Don't think of your jeans as ruined, think of them as taking a different route than most others.

Grow a pair, they are jeans, getting beat up is what they were designed to do. Now you have personalised them, congratulations.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume the crux of your post is your concern that the jeans are damaged not that the fading is hurt. Two big reasons raw denim blows out -People on forums like this beat the hell out of their jeans. You wear anything for 5-12 months straight it'll probably get a little beat up. Add biking, work, etc done for fades and it's worse. -Not washing actually damages the jeans. Dirt and grease weaken the fabric. As for nudies, they do have a reputation for shoddier quality. Chlorine can be damaging to your denim (as is any chemical or bleach). Don't worry about it. If it does start to noticably weaken, get some preventative work done.
