Looks like C&J Finsbury to me, except the broguing and lack of combination sole don't seem correct. A low BIN looked attractive to me either way, as I've taken quite a liking to suede shoes as of late. If you like them and they don't fit keep an eye out on the buying / selling forum....

Didn't Alden make some Polo stuff for a while? They do have the full rubber toplift, but they could still be Aldens. Then again, they might be Italian.

They say made in England so I would guess that they are either C&J or Sanders.

I looked at a pair as well. I was told they were C&J.

Sorry for the duplicate entry.

I have a pair of Sanders & Sanders shoes and the inside stamping (with the size and number and such) looks similar, as does the sole with the full-rubber heel. I have two pair of C&J, and the soles and stamping don't look like that at all.

Of course, this is just a guess. Those you bought are nice looking shoes, either way, especially if you got them at a good price.

I concur with rach2jlc. I own a couple of pairs of Sanders and the font for the inside stamping and the stitching and detail of the soles are identical to mine.

Good catch! You should get years of enjoyment out of these.

They look like Henderson's to me. I bought a pair that look almost identical to these from Louis Boston. Henderson is a small boutique shoe maker out of Italy. Maybe this helps some.

They're marked "made in England".
