I always struggle with polo shirts where the collar doesnt lay right at all. They tend to curl oddly and unevenly and it drives me insane. I also dont like when you see a polo collar lay completely flat against the shirt.

Is there anything you can do to get a solid uniform collar? Is there a trick to getting it to look nice?

My polos are almost all Bonobos. Some are golf polos (so the material is thinner), others are the regular ones. I have not worn the golf ones yet, but the others are nice collars but just wont cooperate :)

Charles Tyrwhitt polos have a hidden collar button.

Kent Wang and many others make polos with a dress-shirt collar and they’re just plain better.

Second the Kent Wang polo recommendation. Their collars are made with two layers, unlike many that are made with just one. They do run small so size up.
