So I am a young guy recently out of college and I can't afford high-fashion designer labels. I have about a 43" chest, 32" waist, 5'8.5". I wear a lot of j crew, which is decent quality although I can't stand their button downs. I was thinking polo rugby stuff might fit me alright. Can anyone comment on the fit of rugby stuff? I am looking for a few ocbds and maybe a linen shirt. IMO a lot of their simple stuff looks pretty good.

I'm a big fan of rugby. Half their **** is unwearable b/c of the logos and weird designs but the other half is pretty good quality/value and much slimmer than Jcrew. Without actually taking measurements, a M button down shirt for Rugby probably has an inch or two at most more in the chest compared to a S Jcrew shirt, more waist suppression, and shorter sleeves compared ot the same size jcrew.

I have 3 of their OCBDs (only experience with them) and they are the best I've had for the price ($45 a pop). Fits like what BoO looks like on other people. Slimfitting. Better than J Crew garbage I've tried.

Why do people think their lives are so important to give out their measurements and ask people if the **** will fit. Why don't people just try the crap on and be a man and quit askin people on the net

some people aren't near stores that sell this stuff. for example, there's not a single ralph lauren store in my state.

i was up in sacramento last weekend with some friends and i found a jcrew store, but like all stores in the world, they didn't stock XS, so i couldn't try anything on.

even if you can find a store doesn't mean you'll be able to try things on in your size.
