Grail Alert. Just what is says - the illusive, hard to find solid navy suit. The condition is very good - I don't believe this was worn much at all. In fact the hip pockets are still sewn shut. There is some normal wear on the pants, and some shine where the belt buckle rubs the front of the pants. Nothing abnormal - just the kind of wear you would see on a suit that has been worn a dozen times or so.

The kicker here, is that the inseam is very short, and with the cuffs, you only have about 4" to let. So max inseam is 30, maybe 30.5.

Navy is notoriously hard to photograph, but looking at my photos, I would say that the 1/2 front view photo is the best representation of color.

Asking Price - $375 (SHIPPED IN CONUS via USPS Priority Mail).
International buyers - email for a quote. I believe the retail on these solid color suits is around $1,600.

Features:

  • Made in Italy (by Corneliani)
  • Polo II Model
  • Dual Rear vents
  • 3-roll-2 button stance
  • Dual reverse pleats on the pants
  • Soft natural shoulders
  • Lots of pickstitching detail on the lapels

Measurements:

Jacket

Shoulders 18
Chest 41
Waist 38
Sleeves 24.5 (1" to let)
Length 30

Pants

Waist 33 (2" to let)
Rise 12
Thigh 13
Knee 11
Ankle 9
Inseam 26.5 (4" to let) *** pay attention here

Also are any of those jackets in your signature still available?

Would you say that this is a slimmer suit?

Yes, I would say that it is a slimmer suit. The jacket is pretty slim cut - notice the chest to waist drop. The pants are more conservative - not Italian slim. I have the same suit in charcoal, and I had my tailor slim the pants a bit, but different people like different things.

Also are any of those jackets in your signature still available?

Yes, actually - all of them.
