That, hands down. I love the longwing and feel its just a touch more versatile than the "short" wing. The longwing can be paired just as easily with jeans and a suit, whereas the short wingtip would look a bit too dressy for jeans. Plus, one is SF Groupthink Approved.

I like both, the Aldens are nice and I really like longwings but I prefer the sleeker RLs. That said, I have AE longwings in #8 shell, rather clunky but I love them and bought the on Amazon for 40% off.

I own This, but because I already have That in vintage Florsheim. If I had neither I would buy That first.

But you need This eventually, so buy both.
