1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Should we start buying stock in Grenson?  I'm just curious to see how many shoes the Styleforum (NY contingent) purchased from the recent Soiffer-Haskin sale.  I'm roughly guessing the number might approach the 300-500 mark.  Chris... pay close attention.

Please include "mule" purchases for those members who live outside the NY area.

Better to buy the shoes than the stock--Grenson couldn't survive at the prices folks around here buy them. (fingers crossed for my 'mule' today)

For myself only, or should I include ones I bought for my friends?

For anyone buying 12/13s, I hope you are planning on buying a few extras to put on EBay.

Final tally only. Please include all purchases made for others. This is a group effort, err, shoe grab.

I got a pair of Stuarts choice black boots. I didn't go ga-ga over the side laced shoes or anything else I saw at that time.

Only one pair: the side laced shoe in brown. (Can't vote, because I viewed the results this morning)

I may be a shoe pig, but there is nothing classic or classy about me. I am 800 miles from NY and could not attend. I was there for the after-Christmas sale and bought a pair of Grenson kiltie tassel loafers, however. KenCPollock a/k/a Jerrysfriend

I am paying attention....I think I like the company so much.....maybe....maybe, I will email The Donald and see if he will help me buy it.....that would make everything good, would it not?

    How would I start this?

    My Friend, Donald,

I have a business proposition, it will make loads of money and satisfy many peoples needs around the NY area and broader. We could .......

    What do you think?

NCT, there's no "more than 10" category. You need to change it to "10 or more". I am sure several of us would fall into that category if we include the ones that we bought for others.

Picked up 3 pairs yesterday late in the afternoon, just as the 3 for the price of 2 pairs deal went into effect. Â I searched high and low for a pair of double monk straps in black, but alas a gentleman ahead of me swiped the last pair. Â Anyone with a pair of the black double monk strap in size 10D wanna swap for the pebbled dark brown? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Regards, Tom [IMG]

Of all the times I been there, namely three, [IMG] I didn't see any chelsea boots... at least in my size range. Did anyone see chelsea boots there?
