A home for the best of the best, starting 1/1/2016, ending on 12/31/16.
Self nomination - is it in bad taste to post the price? I'm going to send this off to get graded, finding this opened up a whole new world of the thrift game. This coin graded MS70 (perfect) has sold for over $5K. Without a doubt the single best item I've thrifted.
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
Not as sweet as 4 pairs at once, like in 2014.....but.
1960's Redwing Engineer Boots.
Sold in 19 minutes for just under $700

Forgot to nom myself for this.
Zilli navy blue leather bomber with sheared beaver collar.
Repeating my 2012 entry with 130 or so belts.
3 Anderson Sheppardcsuits and one blazer and one Neiman Marcus Vicuna coat. Total under $40.
Sorry, just stumbled across this but, holy shit. And it looks beautiful. I wouldn't sell it unless you really needed the cash, just keep it for a rainy day (if ever).
I allllllmoooooost feel sorry for Spoo in here. If anyone else posted that, they'd be the runaway winner and this thread would be shut down hard. For him, it's like "oh. Spoo found an entire county's worth of insane shit again. I'll just post these 4 Hermes ties and somehow get more votes than him at the end of the year."
Case in point, your post has as many thumbs as spoo's photos haha.
Can we play a different game now?
Was in NYC and found a small men's consignment shop on the Upper East Side where the 1% apparently dump their stuff. Found this pristine Zegna cashmere overcoat for (what I'm assuming was) less than 10% of retail price. Coat is a bit darker than photos depict.
