Just got these awesome oxbloox Strands from Allen Edmonds last night:
That's them after a generous coat of Saphir Renovateur. Anyway...
They have a subtle antique finish, which I would like to maintain (and even enhance). I'd also like to keep the color relatively light, as I love the redness of the finish. I also intend to create a mirror shine, once my Saphir cream and wax polishes come in the mail.
In light of my above goals, what would y'all recommend I do? What color waxes and creams would you recommend I use, and how?
So, for example, I ordered Saphir mahogany cream, and both neutral and black wax. Do I apply the Mahogany cream to impart some redness, then some black wax to create some antiquing? Something else?
