Very cool, manton! I'm listening right now and love (and agree) with your dissertation on the handkerchief/pocket square!

You sound rather young, how old are you? This is pretty interesting to listen to.

Well done, very entertaining. The T. Browne comments made me howl.

Is it true you don't wear jeans ever?
I apologize in advance if you have answered this ad naus.

I'm curious what your educational background is? Poli Sci? Rumors abound.

You have encouraged me to get some more linen sportcoats, as men we just look so much better in a well cut jacket then just a shirt alone. And summer linen has such an appeal. However, I'm sticking to a darker brown and a navy shade.
When I get a chance I will have to listen to the whole podcast.

Congrats on your book, a true labor of love. Great that you have followed your passion to a realized dream. I'm sure tis only a beginning.

Not sure what part of the film that still is from, or even it is in the film, but I'm thinking of the first long scene he is in. (There are only two.) The scene in which he wins. In that scene, he only takes his coat off to wash his hands. Unless my memory is just kablooey. But I saw this again less than a year ago.

Feh, my memory is apt to be equally kablooey, although I had it in my feeble head that Gleason took off his coat at some point in the first match. I could, in not insubstantial probability, be conflating it with the latter.

By the way, nothing against the book, but I'm actually enjoying the interview more than the book itself. Maybe it's just a product of the generation that I belong to.
