My take? Any accessory can be worn well or poorly. It is all in how the person coordinates things and balances it with the rest of his outfit. The guys who are successful at it us it as an attractive accent. The guys who fail are usually wearing too many colors, patterns, accessories, textures, maybe hoping something will work?
I have always found the simple black, white and ivory combination to be elegant.
I love these colors.

To me this is the perfect way to dress up a blue blazer or tan suit in the spring or summer. All you need is this and a blue or white shirt.
