There's a lot going on in this look that I like. Not only is the color palette well done as you mention, but there's a nice interplay between the textures and patterns as well. The wet/smooth looks of the square and shirt play nicely with the dry roughness of the tie and jacket. The stripes of the shirt provide balance to the more horizontal patters of the tie and jacket. Overall, very successful look.

The main tension in this look seems to me to be in the level of formality in the elements. Peaked lapels and a TV fold white square, but a very loose cut on the jacket (I would contend the shoulders are just unambiguously too wide), an unbuttoned button-down collar...to me overall the fit isn't successful.

Love the color and shoulder on this jacket. I think it's true that this tie needs a loud pocket square so that it does not dominate the look too much, but I would pick a different one. I just can't look at this one without thinking tablecloth, and it matches the colors of the tie too closely.

The green pants looks actually good on his jacket.

Just hand rolled some pocket squares for myself and for a friend. Added some monogramming on a whim. I know some people on SF dislike monogramming, but I have a machine that can do it so I thought I'd try it out to see how it looked. Any thoughts?
