Thank you, will see what I can come up with -- I wasn't originally planning on that shirt and tie but of what I had on hand, I thought it was the best combination. Will do some more digging and I appreciate the feedback. If anyone has advice on PS with that shirt and tie, I will take that in mind as well. Thanks!

How common is it that customers receive a free square? I'm considering buying one, but if I knew I'd probably receive a free square, I'd definitely pull the trigger.

No idea, but I got one as well a week ago. Really great designs and fantastic customer service.

I am looking for flamboyant/loud pocket squares that are $50 or less (including tax, duties, and shipping to US). I do the puff fold and the reverse puff/4 mountains fold. I want the pocket square to really show through in either of those folds. What are some companies?

    Hi,

I would like to get opinions of my own work as Alta Sartoria student.

All takes me several hours do do due to extreme tight and closed stitchings.

The ones with contrast borders are attached by hand from other fabric, non printed on the borders
with other color. Never seen this done so i did myself.

    Love linen.

Cool print. Where'd you get the fabric?

Thanks! I sourced the fabric from a store in Manchester on my travels!

I'm selling the pocket squares so look out for them in the classifieds section. Here is another one recently made:

Holy crap. It took me almost a week but I have read this entire thread from first to last post. I've learned an awful lot. Thanks especially to Gus, Spoo, SB and Kent Wang for being so patient and articulate. Now can someone tell me: what's the perfect size for a pocket square?

    JK! Thanks again!

After many requests for an online version of our sample sale, we're doing it. Only way we could manage the logistics was this: five pocket squares for a hundred bucks. Grab bag style. It's about 70% off our retail price, and there's no seconds. Lots of really beautiful stuff, and we'll pick a nice assortment for you. All the info is here.

And don't worry, Spoo, outside of a few made from narrow-width vintage Japanese kimono silk, they're all 16x16.

This may seem like a stupid question, but the tags on pocket squares (brand and fabric/care) are meant to be removed, correct? I've always done it but want to make sure there's not a reason to keep them on.

It's not a stupid question at all. I have never removed any of my tags. When I do the reverse puff fold where all 4 corners are exposed, I rotate the fold so that the tag is hidden.

I usually take mine off, including on my own Put This On squares. But as Gus said, rotating them so they don't show also works.

I remove mine. My OCD gets in the way.

The only reason you might want to keep them on is if you plan to sell them. Otherwise, they're your squares, do as you please!

I remove mine as well. Do it VERY carefully, though, with a a fine point pair of sharp scissors. The first time I tried it, I used a stitch picker (unstitcher) and I used too much force and put a run right through a brand new Drakes wool/silk square. Very pissed at myself. Since then I take a small pair of razor sharp scissors that come to a point and snip a thread on the label side of the stitch until they are all cut. Then I gently pull the threads out making sure they're not snagging on the pocket square material.
