1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

does anyone ever wear a pocket square with a dress shirt when a suit or jacket isn't needed?

I've certainly never heard of that. Most people who would wear a pocket square to begin with probably don't have pockets on their shirts.

It's not a style worn by white-collar workers, though I've seen it done by blue-collar guys with regular handkerchiefs in their work shirts. Based on pictures I've seen, it was also popular among the mod/suede/skin head groups back in the day.

If a tie is needed then a jacket is needed in which case, put in the jacket pocket. Or if you're wearing a sweater with a shirt and tie (also acceptable) you won't see the shirt pocket, assuming it's a shirt with a pocket.

    Don't do it.
