I have been pondering this question for some time. Does any company make single pleated pants (reletively inexpensive, if possible) and could a younger man pull double pleats off??

I know that flat-front is the going style now, but my body isn't shaped well enough for them to fit how I like. Pleats help, but I feel like I am "dressing too old" so to speak if I am wearing double pleated Dockers. (No offense to anyone, it's just that it is a problem when I am wanting to wear pants to a club or to work, and Dockers just don't seem to do it for a 23 year old.)

Anyone have an alternate solution? Or even some brands that could help me. I am not wanting to spend too much (college budget), but at the same time I appreciate quality and have no problem with paying a little more for that.

    Any suggestions??

there are plenty of single pleated pants out there. get them with on-seam pockets and they look very fashionable. two makers off the top of my head are dkny (under $60) and calvin klein. if your shopping choices are limited by where you live, get something on-line. try yoox or bluefly. just stay away from those dockers. i hate 'em too.
