I think in some cases it could be interesting, but not with a wacky pattern like these. Too much going on.

I saw one of those brioni pleated ties in a store last year, and it looked awesome, but it was quite plain and in a dark brown.

Also was $300. Yay for canadian retail pricing.

Of course. Just be sure to wear them properly with the pleats facing up (to hold opera tickets).

i like the patterns on those....just not the pleats. I saw them in person when i was visiting family in SLC at Utah Woolen Mills. They do tie a nice knot....if you like thick knots. The one I tried was solid striped....IMHO it would look better with a 3 piece suit...showing too much of it i thought looked...well...too much.
