Recently bought a folio with a rather thin slot for a pen. I am looking for a thin pen that would fit inside nicely. I have a stainless steel parker that would probably fit, if I can find it......

any other recomendations?

Lamy.

I bought the Spirit pen - http://www.lamy.com/eng/b2c/spirit/261 - when I first saw it at the Pen Shoppe in Brisbane and I wanted something stylish, functional, and surely not like anything anyone else I knew would own - for that, "WTF is that?" factor.

When my stainless steel and plastic Pacer mechanical pencil broke - after nearly 20 years of faithfully drawing 0.5 mm lines for me - I looked for the exact same model, and couldn't find it.

Turns out Lamy have a Spirit mechanical pencil as well - http://www.lamy.com/eng/b2c/spirit/163 - so I bought that.

Both pen and pencil are stainless steel, and despite being in the wash a couple of times, are in tip top condition - actually I think the wash cycles cleaned out the stainless steel and aluminium dust from work that was causing a slight grinding feel to the push-button mechanism, so they seem to be washing machine safe.

They are also very thin, about 6 mm - just under a quarter of an inch - across the main part of the body.
