I'm thinking of buying another pair of shoes. Right now I have a pair of AE brown suede mclains and AE brown Bristol slip ons. I would like to wear them with dress pants but also with dark jeans. I'm looking to spend no more than $350 and they need to be new.
I've eyed the Alden wingtip on the Aldenshop.com but I already have a pair of wingtips.

Can anyone make any recomendations?
Thanks

Another question is do I need another pair of shoes?

Want to try a traditonal English shoe like Crockett and Jones, Church's (now Italian owned!) or the like?
I could do this within your budget if you tell me size, style you like and colour, can show some examples.
Thanks.

I'm a 9d. At this point if it's a good quality brand (which I know c&j is) I don't mind a all as long as they're new. As for color brown or burgundy?

Either eBay, Grapevinehill, or really odd sizes on amazon.com or the like. Like I said, I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I saw reasonable prices on the Darlton before. Could have even been our very own B&S.

They recently had them at GVH for ~$300 IIRC.

Get a cap toe if you already have a wingtip. Odds are that your wingtips will work for most formal environments, but you can never dress TOO well

I also doubt whether 'northamptonshoes' would gather shoes that were like new, as the majority of those people, such as AscotShoes etc. sell second rate subs, for a substantial mark up too I might add.

I have never seen them for $300... A pair disappeared on the B&S forum yesterday in 30 minutes @ $500. If you can tell me where to get them for $300, I will buy 5 pairs (& flip 4, of course).

Were they shell? Because I believe the ones I saw were calf...

Sorry. I was working off of the general assumption that when someone refers to the Darlton, they are talking about "The Darlton"... The shell model. I always forget that the same shoe is offered in calfskin as well.
